Ginsberg-Rutkoff Wedding Berkshires, Massachusetts·
Set up on a blind date at one of our favorite downtown bars, Wilfie & Nell, the bride and groom hit it off immediately. They went on three more dates that same week, and the rest was history. The couple wed at the bride’s grandparents’ house in the Berkshires. “The ceremony was under the apple tree at my grandparents. My parents got married under the same tree 34 years ago and my brother proposed to his wife under the tree four years ago,” Rebecca told us. For their reception they headed up the road to Chesterwood, the summer home of American sculptor, Daniel Chester French. With the weather in their favor, it ended up being the perfect night explained Rebecca, “We lucked out with the most perfect August weather with a cool breeze and perfect sunset.”
What made you choose these Shoshanna dresses?
I was very lucky to have my three sister-in-laws as my bridesmaids. I wanted them to wear a comfortable dress that they could wear again. I wanted it to be a bright color so that it would pop against the green outdoor scenery. They actually all ended up choosing the same dress, but I love that the dress was available in different styles.
What was your favorite feature of the dress?
I love the scallop laced neckline and the flattering roomy cut of the waist because it hid my pregnant belly!
My favorite feature of the dress was the pockets, but I also loved the comfortable and forgiving cut, as well as the full coverage up top, which allowed me to wear an everyday bra.
Did the dress fit your body type?
It was an excellent fit and was supportive to my body. It was a great pick on my sister-in-law's part for the three different bodies of her bridesmaids!
It fit perfectly - early pregnant or not!
What accessories did you pair with the dress?
Just a simple pair of pearl earrings and a gold necklace that was a gift from the bride!
Where do you plan to wear it again?
I have already worn it to another outdoor, tented wedding and received many compliments!!!
What was the greatest moment of the day?
When we were up on the chairs during the Hora. I looked down and saw all of my friends and family laughing and dancing and then looked across at my amazing new husband!
Thank you to Rebecca and her gorgeous bridesmaids!
