Yalich-Tintchev Wedding Saint Michael’s, Maryland·
The newlyweds, who met at DC’s Old Glory bar six years ago, have been inseparable ever since. They have spent many weekends on the Eastern Shore, so it only made sense for them to get married there. When asked why St. Michael’s, Lauren told us “We felt it was a great ‘destination’ to visit, but was not too far for the majority of our friends and family. Kirkland Manor in particular was a gem, with a huge lawn overlooking the water and endless possibilities.” The bride and groom wanted a rustic chic feel. “We combined neutral colors with light pink and dark wood accents and added chandeliers and white lounges around the dance floor to achieve the look,” Lauren explained.
What made you choose these dresses for your bridesmaids?
I knew that I wanted a neutral or champagne color dress to go along with my wedding color palette. I also knew that I wanted the bridesmaid dresses to be by Shoshanna. With the help of Megan Hood, Urban Chic buyer and bridesmaid, we were able to narrow down the perfect shape to fit all body types. Our wedding was also black tie optional, so the fabric and volume of this particular dress was perfect.
What was your favorite feature of the dress?
The color and the style of the dress! It was great because it had a built in bustier, so I did not have to worry about the dress staying up all night.

What accessories did you pair with the dress?
We wore gold wedges and a gold necklace that Lauren gave us as a Bridesmaid present. I can’t wait to wear this dress to a holiday party- it is the perfect party dress!

What was the greatest moment of the day?
The best moment was walking back with my husband from taking pictures and looking out from a far to the boathouse where the cocktail hour was held. We were overcome with joy and felt so loved and honored to have all of our friends and family together to share the moment. It was a few minutes to ourselves as we walked to join to the cocktail hour where we could take in the day and breathe before the night began.
Thank you so much to Lauren for sharing her day with us!
